Mocha Brownie Tallow Bar Soap
This soap actually started out as a coffee soap, with brewed coffee used in place of water and coffee grounds incorporated into the soap batter. However, when I added cocoa powder to color it, the soap smelled just like delicious mocha brownies...
So, here we are with my Mocha Brownie Tallow Bar Soap! I used my new base recipe for this soap (see the Bare Necessities Tallow Bar Soap for more information), with the addition of coffee grounds for exfoliation. I used cocoa powder for color, but it adds a surprising amount of cocoa scent to the soap, which is further enhanced by a warming coffee fragrance.
This soap is currently only available locally at the Kitchen Collective Market in Portsmouth, OH.
